Policy and Environmental Changes

A healthy environment can lead to healthy employees.  Employers have the capacity to make and change the policies and environments in which their employees work.  Some examples of policy and environmental changes to promote employee wellness include a smoke-free campus, healthy cafeteria meal options, healthy snacks and drinks in vending machines, flexible work schedules, bike racks, walking paths, breastfeeding room and equipment, exercise rooms and equipment, locker rooms, among others.
