How Healthy is your Worksite? 

A baseline needs assessment is a critical first step in determining the current health status and potential health risks of employees.  A Health Risk Assessment (HRA) is a confidential questionnaire that can yield reports for individuals about their own health behaviors and risks as well as aggregate reports about the health of an agency’s population.  HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, 1996) prohibits individual information from being disclosed to an employer or health insurance carrier; it is important for employees to know that the information on their HRA is completely confidential to ensure participation and accurate response.
