Healthy Eating and Active Living Collaborative

Healthy Eating and Active Living Collaborative

The Healthy Eating and Active Living Collaborative (HEAL) is a group of local organizations working together to make eating well and being active an easier choice for all Rhode Islanders. HEAL is charged with putting Rhode Island’s Plan for Healthy Eating and Active Living into action. The Initiative for a Healthy Weight currently manages HEAL.

What do we do?

The Healthy Eating and Active Living Collaborative identifies, develops, implements and promotes evidence-based initiatives that will move Rhode Island closer to meeting the objectives in the  Plan. Most of this work is done by workgroups, who regularly identify priorities for action.

How Can My Organization Get Involved?

Would your organization like to get involved in putting these priorities into action? Take the HEAL Pledge and join a workgroup!
