Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS)
- Purpose: To assess adolescent behavioral health risks.
- Key Information: Health-risk behaviors in public school students grades 6 through 12 that contribute to the major causes of death, disease, injury, and social problems among youth including: physical activity, tobacco and drug use, perceptions of violence, sexual orientation and activity. Demographic data includes: gender, age language, disability, education level, race and hispanic origin.
- Collection Period: Biennally in odd years starting in 1995 high school, 2007 middle school to 2007
