Lyme Disease

Resources for Educators

Teach Lyme in the Classroom.  Given how much time they spend playing outside, it is especially important for children to learn about ticks and Lyme disease.  Schools, camps, and similar educational facilities provide an excellent opportunity for children to learn about the life cycle of a tick, how to check for and remove ticks, and the transmission and symptoms of tick-borne diseases.  Please take the time to look through the educational modules and materials available and consider using them to educate the children in your care.
