Other Diseases Carried by Ticks

Ticks are vectors (carriers) for many diseases.  In addition to Lyme, babesiosis, ehrlichiosis, RMSF, and STARI, ticks carry dozens of illnesses which they can pass to humans and animals, including many of the same diseases which many insects, such as mosquitoes, and other arachnids, such as mites, carry.  Below is a list of other diseases which ticks are known to carry:
