STD CONTROL INFORMATION FOR CLINICAL PROVIDERS

DISEASE REPORTING: In accordance with the “Rules and Regulations for the Reporting of Communicable Diseases”, licensed medical providers are required to report every case of PID, gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis (all stages), LGV, chancroid and granuloma inguinale within 4 days of diagnosis.

LABORATORY TESTING : For uninsured and underinsured clients free test kits and testing (including for urine GC/CT testing) can be obtained from HEALTH laboratory by calling 222-5591 and setting up a provider account.
