F. Stop Chlamydia Project In Region I (6 New England states), the regional advisory committee has been created to develop guidelines and standards to assess and reduce the prevalence of Chlamydia trachomatis in the region. The advisory committee is comprised of regional representatives from Title X family planning agencies, STD programs, and public health laboratories. Region I has developed a regional plan that outlines the specific activities to be undertaken to control chlamydia and chlamydia-related sequelae in the region. The advisory committee's primary role is to oversee and approve project activities.
