National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment & Scholar Programs
The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) continually seeks clinicians dedicated to working with the underserved. NHSC has created a program to connect these unique individuals with communities in need. Fully trained health professionals dedicated to working with the underserved with qualifying educational loans are eligible to apply for federal loan repayment.

Oral Health Professional Advisory Council (OHPAC)
OHPAC assists and advises the RI Department of Health to develop and guide implementation of an oral health strategic plan.

RI Board of Examiners in Dentistry
The Rhode Island Board of Examiners in Dentistry ensures that all dentists and dental hygienists practicing in Rhode Island meet the requirements for licensure and comply with the applicable conditions and regulations of the law.

RI Health Professional Loan Repayment Program (RI HPLRP)
The goal of the RI HPLRP is to improve the quality and accessibility of primary health care services available to low-income, medically underserved residents of Rhode Island. The program offers repayment of educational loans to health professionals (including dentists and dental hygienists) who make a two-year commitment to work in approved public or non-profit agencies that serve vulnerable populations in health professional shortage areas.
