Licensing And Certification  

The Rhode Island Radon Control Program operates a comprehensive licensing and certification program that is supported by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is our objective to assure the competency of Radon Professionals in Rhode Island.

Rhode Island issues licenses for Radon Mitigation Contractors, Workers and Specialists, and certifications for Radon Training Courses, Analytical Services, Measurement Businesses and Consultants. Detailed requirements and fees for licensure and certification are contained in the Rhode Island Rules and Regulations for Radon Control (R23-61RC), Sections B. All licensing and certification activities are conducted at our office located at:

Our normal office hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday. All applications should be mailed to the above address.
