Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Rhode Island
The WIC Program provides breastfeeding education to women during pregnancy and support for breastfeeding mothers. Many local WIC agencies also have trained Breastfeeding Peer Counselors who work with WIC clients during pregnancy and for the duration of their breastfeeding experience.
