Rhode Island's Home Visiting Program
Home visitors help families find services.
Infancy and early childhood are important times in life—times when families need a variety of services.Our home visitors can link families to resources and services in their communities such as:
- Parenting classes
- Testing of your child’s growth and development
- Immunizations
- Tests for lead poisoning
- Child care
- WIC – Healthy foods for Women, Infants and Children
- RIte Care – Health Insurance for pregnant women, children and families
- Early Intervention – For children with developmental delays
- Food Stamps
- A medical home
