How can the Family Outreach Program Help Families?

There’s so much to think about when it comes to having a baby and raising a child. Mothers with new babies, and families with young children often have questions. Sometimes they need help finding services for their families. The Family Outreach Program can help. We visit families in their homes at a time that’s convenient for them—days, evenings or weekends. Our home visitors are caring professionals -- nurses, social workers, and paraprofessionals -- all trained to provide support to families and to link them to services in their communities. The Program helps all families.

  • Many of our home visitors speak more than one language.
  • There is no cost to families for the visits.
