Family Guidance Program

Rhode Island School for the Deaf

What is the Family Guidance Program?

The Family Guidance Program at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf is a program that intervenes early with families with children who have a hearing loss. The program offers center and home-based services by trained professionals in the field of deafness and hearing loss.

The program provides families the support, guidance and information to help them make decisions and advocate for their young child. Staff and parents work together to meet the family’s needs.
