What is Health for Her?

womanHealth for Her is a women’s family planning program that provides high-quality care, education, and counseling to women up to 64 years old. Services are provided by caring professionals who help you stay healthy through testing, early detection, and treatment of illnesses.

What services does Health for Her offer?

Health for Heroffers affordable services related to contraception, sterilization, and infertility that are important to your health including:

  • Physical exams
  • Blood tests
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Pap smears
  • Breast exams
  • Birth control for you and your partner
  • Confidential testing for HIV / sexually transmitted diseases
  • Infertility information and referrals
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Family planning counseling
  • Referrals to specialized care

Why is Health for Her important for you?

Even if you feel fine, it’s still important to get health care. Don’t avoid care because you’re afraid of what a doctor might find. Health for Her covers exams and tests that can identify a number of diseases early enough to prevent illness and keep you healthy.

How much does Health for Her cost?

If you have health insurance, your health plan is charged for the services. If you do not have insurance, the cost of Health for Her services is based on how much you can pay. No one is denied services.
