School Based Health Centers (SBHCs) in Rhode Island

School based Health Centers:

  • Offer a range of physical, behavioral, and oral health services to students in schools.
  • Allow students to take care of their health needs so they are better able to learn.
  • Make getting health care easy:

Students do not have to leave school, which avoids transportation problems and absences from school.

Students do not need medical insurance to receive services.
