What mothers are saying about PRAMS

What new mothers are saying about breastfeeding

“I began breastfeeding within 15 minutes after giving birth and am still breastfeeding while working full time!  I have had great support from my midwifes and my pediatrician.”

“I would like to see more info and support for breastfeeding broughtbaby breastfeeding to new mothers’ attention. I have often wondered if there could ever be a 24-hour hotline for new mothers. The only problem is the best candidate for the job are mothers.”

“If there were places to breastfeed while I am out with my son that would be great. From what I’ve seen, today’s society is not very receptive to women breastfeeding in public. I am very discreet when I do it.”

“I feel there is a lot of pressure to breastfeed, yet no support for women who return to the workplace. Although some places offer support, most do not.”

“Breastfeeding in the hospital, and while the baby remains in the hospital, should be better facilitated. Bottles should not be used for babies who will be breastfed.”
