American Dietetic Association the nation’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. It provides educational resources that promote optimal nutrition, health, and well-being.

Team Nutrition- USDA focuses on building healthy lifestyles in the school community.  It provides many educational resources, including nutrition and physical activity, for students, parents, and educators.

Rhode Island Links

Crossroads RI (Formerly Travelers Aid of Rhode Island) is the largest homeless services organization in the state. They provide assistance 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for a broad spectrum of Rhode Islanders.

RI Coalition for the Homeless information on the many services that the RI Coalition for the Homeless offers to homeless individuals and community housing agencies. 

Food Bank contact information on 435 member agency food programs across Rhode Island.  Approximately half of those agencies are emergency food providers. 

Rhode Island Department of Health and Human Services in-depth information on the Foodstamp Program and the RIte Care Program (Medical Assistance Program) for Rhode Islanders.
