"" Policies & Responsibilities

The partnership between the Rhode Island Department of Health and WIC-authorized vendors is an integral component of a successful nutrition program. Vendors ensure that WIC clients receive the correct type and amount of food that they are entitled to receive. Vendors must comply with all policies and procedures set forth in the vendor agreement. The WIC Vendor Program monitors and investigates authorized vendors to ensure that vendors are in compliance with all policies and responsibilities.
