HIV and AIDS Case Reporting

In accordance with Rhode Island’s General Laws (Chapter 23) and the Rhode Island Department of Health’s Rules and Regulations Pertaining to HIV Counseling, Testing, Reporting, and Confidentiality , hospitals, laboratories and licensed health care providers are required to report HIV & AIDS cases to the Department of Health’s Office of HIV/ AIDS & Viral Hepatitis.
