Office of Health Professionals RegulationBoard of Dietetics PracticeBoard Members | Meeting Dates | Board News Disciplinary Actions | Rules and Regulations The licensed dietitian/nutritionist is a person engaged in the practice of dietetics, which is the professional discipline of applying principles derived from the sciences of nutrition, biochemistry, psychology, management, and behavioral and social sciences in the provision of dietetic services. Licensees have completed a baccalaureate or post baccalaureate program in dietetics, 900 hours experience in dietetic practice and a Registration Examination for Dietitians approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
