The examination will be administered by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and you will be able to take the examination electronically at a local testing center. Please click here to obtain the information you will need in order to apply for the EMT-Basic Examination. EMT-PARAMEDIC: Please click here to obtain the information you will need in order to apply for the EMT-Paramedic Examination. EMT-CARDIAC: The EMT-Cardiac Examination is the ONLY EMT Examination that will be administered at the Department of Health. Please see below for the examination dates and registration deadlines:
Registration is limited to this allocated time only and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Examination session will be closed when enrollment levels are reached. Registrants whose paperwork is received after enrollment is met will be notified and scheduled for a future date. Please select date for exam and return registration form and materials and payment (if applicable) to the Division of EMS. All materials must be received one week prior to the exam date. If you have any questions, please call the Division of EMS at (401) 222-2401. All exams to be held in the Health Department Auditorium at 9:00 AM unless otherwise notified. Proof of identity is required by use of a photographic identification card. No one will be admitted to the examination after 9:10 a.m. |
