Expiration Dates are Displayed on the Licensee Verification Lookup

We are pleased to announce that as of June 19, 2001, our License 2000 Licensee Verification Lookup is displaying expiration dates for each individual license record. This will be of great assistance to employers, credentialing agencies and to others who need to verify that a person or facility licensed by HEALTH holds an Active license or permit.

You may see on some records that the "License Status" box is blank. Due to residual implementation issues, all licenses that are in "Active" status will not display the word "Active" in that box. However, the expiration date will be displayed and will reflect that the license is, indeed, active.

All other statuses, such as Expired, Inactive, Deceased, Revoked and Suspended, will continue to be displayed, along with the expiration dates.

Please remember that listings of disciplinary actions taken against the licenses of our health professionals can be found on the HEALTH website, under "Licensing Boards and Professions". These listings are updated as actions are taken by HEALTH.
