Re: Pediatric Influenza Vaccine Available
The Rhode Island Department of Health has now received its final allocations of flu vaccine.
As of 1:00 pm today, practices may pick-up their vaccine at the Department's Vaccine Distribution Room in the Department of Health lower level. We'll be open until 4:00 pm today.
The Department has received all the flu vaccine ordered, and will be able to fulfill provider requests made via the flu survey.
Please remember to:
- Bring a large enough cooler and ice packs to handle the vaccine you'll be picking up.
- Bring Identification.
The Vaccine Distribution Room will be open as follows:
Wednesday, November 15, 2006 9:00 am to noon 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Thursday, November 16, 2006 9:00 am to noon 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Friday, November 17, 2006 9:00 am to noon 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
After that, the Vaccine Distribution Room will be open as follows:
Tuesdays 9:00 am to noon 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Wednesdays 9:00 am to noon
Thursdays 9:00 am to noon 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (Closed Thursday, Nov. 23)
Fridays 9:00 am to noon
If you chose to pick up your vaccine at one of the three satellite hospital pharmacy depots, the vaccine will be available there by noon on Friday, November 17th.
