Human ResourcesInternship OpportunitiesMany undergraduate and graduate students participate in or are required to fulfill internships as part of their course study. The Department of Health can provide meaningful work that is both challenging and interesting to students. Students can gain valuable work experience, academic credit, references and exposure to future career options. In return, the Department benefits from students completing significant projects and increases the possibility of attracting students to public health careers in the future. Types of InternshipsWorkstudyThe student initiates this process by speaking with the college or university to determine if the student is eligible for off campus workstudy. If eligible, the student may then contact the Department of Health to determine if a workstudy internship is available. Unpaid Internships
