Human Resources

Human Resources works closely with the programs that comprise the Department of Health to identify training needs of the Department’s workforce. Human Resources is responsible for determining educational methods and identifying training vendors to meet training needs.

Human Resources is also responsible for identifying systems that take the training to the learner. This includes satellite broadcasting, computer or web-based training, teleconferences, and other systems. Course material is developed by federal and state agencies for the purpose of training and developing the skills of the public health workforce.
