HEALTH Recommends Closing Lincoln Woods State Park Beach.

Today, HEALTH recommended closing Lincoln Woods State Park Beach to swimming due to high bacteria counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the area is safe for swimming.

Currently, King Park Swim Area in Newport and the Lower Pond at the Kent County YMCA in Warwick are closed due to high bacteria counts.
