HEALTH Recommends Closing Oakland Beach

Today, HEALTH recommended that the City of Warwick close Oakland Beach to swimming due to high bacteria counts.  Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the area is safe for swimming.

Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick, a portion of Third Beach in Middletown, a portion of Scarborough State Beach in Narragansett, and Warren Town Beach remain closed.
