HEALTH Recommends Closing City Park Beach

The Department of Health (HEALTH) recommended the closure of CITY PARK BEACH to swimming following an accidental sewage spill. Officials will monitor water quality and recommend re-opening when the area is safe for swimming.

As a reminder, Rhode Island has many excellent beaches. Currently, there are 117 licensed beaches open throughout the State.
