East Providence Water Currently Safe To Drink
No Need to Boil Water At This Time
Monitoring Continues To Assure Water Safety.

The Rhode Island Department of Health (HEALTH) advises all customers served by East Providence Water System that according to current laboratory results the water is safe for drinking at this time.

People who have any related health concerns should consult with their health care provider.

The City of East Providence has added chlorine to their system, and will keep testing the water in order to assure that water continues to be safe. If it becomes necessary for people to boil their water, the news media will be notified.
