HEALTH Recommends Beach Closings
The Department of Health (HEALTH) recommended the closure of BARRINGTON TOWN BEACH, WARREN TOWN BEACH, FORT ADAMS STATE PARK, BRISTOL TOWN BEACH AND THIRD BEACH to swimming due to high bacteria
counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the areas are safe for swimming. Earlier today, the Department of Health (HEALTH) recommended the closure of NINIGRET PARK BEACH to swimming due to high bacteria counts.
The following beaches still remain closed:
CONIMICUT
POINT BEACH
OAKLAND BEACH
EASTON'S BEACH
CITY PARK BEACH
SCARBOROUGH STATE BEACH NORTH
SCARBOROUGH STATE BEACH SOUTH
ATLANTIC BEACH CLUB
GODDARD MEMORIAL STATE PARK
