HEALTH Recommends Beach Openings
HEALTH officials recommended re-opening the ATLANTIC BEACH CLUB, BARRINGTON TOWN BEACH, BRISTOL TOWN BEACH, EASTON'S BEACH, FORT ADAMS STATE BEACH, GODDARD STATE PARK BEACH, NINIGRET PARK BEACH,
SCARBOROUGH STATE BEACH, and WARREN TOWN BEACH to swimming. This recommendation is based on results from water samples that show bacteria levels within acceptable limits. HEALTH will continue to monitor the water quality regularly to assure safe bathing throughout the summer season.
The following beaches remain closed:
CONIMICUT POINT BEACH
OAKLAND BEACH
CITY PARK BEACH
THIRD BEACH
