HEALTH Announces Extension of Expiration Dates for Online Renewals of Certain License Categories

The Department of Health (HEALTH) is currently developing a new online renewal system. Because of delays in the implementation of the new renewal process, HEALTH hereby grants an administrative grace period for a limited number of license categories. The affected license categories are:

• Allopathic Physician (MD)
• Osteopathic Physician (DO)
• Pharmacist
• Limited Pharmacist (Intern)
• Pharmacy Technician
• Pharmacy Technician in Training

HEALTH will consider licenses of these categories with expiration date of 06/30/2006 to be active until 08/31/2006. Late penalty fees will not be applied between 06/30/2006 and 08/31/2006.

Affected licensees will receive a notification by postcard when the online renewal system becomes available. The notification will include instructions to utilize the new renewal system.
