HEALTH Recommends Beach Openings

HEALTH officials recommended re-opening ATLANTIC BEACH CLUB BEACH, EASTON'S BEACH, FORT ADAMS STATE BEACH, SCARBOROUGH STATE BEACH and THIRD BEACH for swimming. This recommendation is based on results from water samples that show bacteria levels within acceptable limits. HEALTH will continue to monitor the water quality regularly to assure safe bathing throughout the summer season.

The following beaches still remain closed:
CONIMICUT POINT BEACH
BARRINGTON TOWN BEACH
OAKLAND BEACH
WARREN TOWN BEACH
CITY PARK BEACH
BRISTOL TOWN BEACH
GODDARD MEMORIAL STATE PARK
GORTON POND BEACH
