Earlier today, HEALTH officials recommended the pre-emptive closure of EASTON'S BEACH and the ATLANTIC BEACH CLUB BEACH to swimming due to heavy rains and the potential for elevated bacteria. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the areas are safe for swimming.
The following beaches still remain closed:
CAMP FULLER BEACH
CONIMICUT POINT BEACH
KENT COUNTY YMCA BEACH
