The Department of Health (HEALTH) recommended the closure of CITY PARK BEACH, CONIMICUT POINT BEACH, OAKLAND BEACH and GOVERNOR NOTTE PARK BEACH to swimming due to high bacteria counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the areas are safe for swimming.
The following beaches still remain closed:
ATLANTIC BEACH CLUB BEACH
WARREN TOWN BEACH
