Earlier today, HEALTH officials recommended re-opening BARRINGTON TOWN BEACH for swimming. This recommendation is based on results from water samples that show bacteria levels within acceptable limits.
HEALTH recommended the closure of ATLANTIC BEACH CLUB BEACH to swimming due to high bacteria counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend reopening when the areas are safe for swimming.
The following beaches still remain closed:
BROWNING MILL POND BEACH
CAMP ST. DOROTHY
GORTON POND BEACH
