HEALTH Recommends Beach Closings / Openings

The following beaches are closed due to sewage discharges, heavy rain, and elevated bacteria levels: EASTON'S BEACH in Newport, ATLANTIC BEACH CLUB BEACH in Middletown,THIRD BEACH in Middletown, SCARBOROUGH STATE BEACH NORTH and SOUTH in Narragansett, BRISTOL TOWN BEACH, WARREN TOWN BEACH, BARRINGTON TOWN BEACH, CONIMICUT POINT BEACH in Warwick, OAKLAND BEACH in Warwick, CITY PARK BEACH in Warwick, GODDARD MEMORIAL PARK BEACH in Warwick, and NORTH KINGSTON TOWN BEACH. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the areas are safe for swimming.
