Antigua Guatemala Bakery in Central Falls Voluntarily Closes Following Health Department Inspection
On October 3, Antigua Guatemala Bakery located at 740 Dexter Street in Central Falls voluntarily closed due to multiple violations found during an inspection by the Department of Health (HEALTH). Cockroaches and mouse droppings were found throughout the bakery and prepared foods were found unrefrigerated. All potentially contaminated food has been discarded and the facility has voluntarily closed.
Anyone who has purchased food items from this store should inspect the products for cockroaches and roach egg cases. All prepared foods purchased from the store should be discarded.
The bakery will be permitted to open again once the pests have been eliminated and the establishment is able to demonstrate that it is maintaining safe food preparation practices.
