Department of Health (HEALTH) Gives New Number for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care of New England Information

Effective Friday, October 29, HEALTH asks the public seeking information about Harvard Pilgrim Health Care of New England (HPHC-NE) to use a new telephone number when calling. This change expands the number of lines, improves service to callers and will operate through December 1999.

The Information Line staff will answer calls from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. After hours and on weekends, callers will get a recorded message that includes answers to the most frequently asked questions.

In addition to the information line, the HEALTH will post frequently asked questions and answers on the website, www.health.state.ri.us.
