Death Certificate Data

Provisional 2004 and 2005 Death Data

Rhode Island Residents only. This means that deaths of RI residents occurring in other states may be included in provisional data while deaths of non-RI residents occurring in RI are not included.

All of the causes of deaths are underlying causes. Missing, unknown, not stated, and not classifiable data are not tabulated in the output tables, however, they are included in the totals.

Data will be updated when the final Annual Report is issued.

Instructions:

This section allows you to define the structure of the resultant table. If counties are selected, the initial sort column must be the county. If the entire state is chosen, the first sort column is either county (default), or death year, or neither (i.e. NO primary sort column). You can then select up to two additional drilldown levels from the dropdown menus, whether there is a primary sort column or not. However, duplicate sort columns are not permitted.
